The Wickhambrook website is provided to the village by the Parish Council in conjunction with Maria Sumner of Mdsign. Maria has done wonderful work re-vamping the whole site with easy links to follow for more information on every facet of life in the village. A huge vote of thanks must go to Maria for the hours of time and attention to detail that have made this a really interesting site to visit. If you have not done so already take a look – you are sure to become a regular visitor to the site once you have done so.

Wickhambrook Parish Council Clerk (2018)
In 2003 the Wickhambrook village website was designed for the Parish Council, Clubs, local businesses and residents of the village.
A second redesign was undertaken in 2009 and more recently again in 2018 involving a complete overhaul of the layout and information. News and events were brought to the fore as the main features of the website with updates and important information such as Minutes and Agendas provided by the Parish Council.
The website content is managed by Mdsign and updated as required.
Maria Sumner has operated a website for Wickhambrook Parish Council for almost 10 years including a major re-design and update some 4 years ago. The site covers all aspects of village life – the Surgery, the School, Community Groups and Sports Clubs, Churches, local walks, history, etc – and emphasizes forthcoming events e.g. Wickhambrook Fireworks, Over 60s Christmas Party and Flu’ clinic.
The website is of particular importance to the Parish Council because parishioners and the local Press need to know what has been decided at the monthly meetings. An agenda is published the weekend before the Thursday committee meeting and the approved minutes are published the day following the meeting. Everyone knows what has taken place and if there are areas of concern parishioners can raise them at the following month’s meeting. I am always amazed how attractive and vital a website can be and this is entirely due to Maria’s skill and enthusiasm.
